Jerry has been married for 51 years and has 10 Grandchildren. Jerry and his wife Audrey are addicted to "Old Time" music and "Polka Dancing". Jerry & Auudrey live on the 165 Acre Family farm just 5 miles north of Northfield.
Four-wheeling, snowmobiling, hunting, fishing and planting seedlings brings the family closer together. Lots of time has been spent creating wildlife habit on the farm, the farm is a Wildlife Sanctuary, about 65 acres of prarie grass provides food and shelters for the birds, turkeys and pheasants. Thousands of trees have been planted on the farm over the years. Chub Creek flows thru the farm, there are numerous Beaver Dams that also provide habitats for the birds, ducks and Beavers. The Wicklunds stocked the creek in 2007 with walleyes, sunfish and crappies. When weather is bad during the winter the Wicklunds supply corn for the pheasants and turkeys thru the local snowmobile club.
Jerry is an avid walleye fisherman who spends as much time as possible on the lakes during the summer and winter. Jerry is a past President of the Southern Twin CitiesAssociation of Realtors and has served various committees. Jerry is very proud to have served in the U.S. Marine Corp and is a former Northfield High School Wrestling Captain and has devoted time to coaching youth wrestlers over the years.
Jerry has also been assisting buyers and sellers Since 1973.
Jerry's Daughter Cheryl has been in the Real Estate Business over 25 years. She has 3 Children that are active in Hockey and Soccer. They have lived on Lake Marion for 17 years and have a love for swimming, boating, fishing, ice skating, snowmobiling and evening gatherings around the campfire. Many friendships have been formed over the years. The last 5 years Cheryl has walked to raise money for the Relay for Life Cancer Foundation and was a co-leader for the Junior High Confirmation Group. Working as a family team has allowed Cheryl time to stay involved with her Children's activities.
Jerry's Daughter Cindy has been involved in the Real Estate industry for over 30 years. Starting as a Receptionist, working in the accounting department then acquiring her license. Cindy and her Husband of 25+ years and their 3 Children currently live on a Hobby Farm with a small pond and creek running through. Cindy enjoys raising ducks and chickens, hunting, skiing and spending time outdoors. Cindy has been the Meals on Wheels Coordinator for her Church for over 10 years and enjoys visiting the local nursing home. .
